My name is Kira Maintanis, I am twenty years of age, and currently am attending the Massachusetts College of Art (and design). I am aspiring Art Educator, and hope to teach children at a High School level. My work is quite varied, it ranges from traditional artistic practices all the way to digital painting and semi-professional web design. I have even dabbled in video game creation.

Currently, my artistic ventures are bringing me towards working with human socio/psychological issues, such as sexuality, morality, and obsession.

The main goal of my artistic career, however, will be to learn all that I can possibly learn in each media available to me. I wish to be a vessel of knowledge for my students--always growing and learning so that they may also be constanly progressing.
